Been watching some movies old and new and have a number of them that really got me thinking and really reflected the life of people in this century...

first of all:

well, I watched it through DVD and at first I was thinking "well, it's a comedy, most probably it will not leave any influence in my life but halfway through the movie I got the message that it trying to give... and at the end of the movie, I actually filled with tears with all the great things. The message that it gives are "FAMILY IS MORE IMPORTANT" think of this, how many people in this world put courier first? Either u're using your work to run away from something (like one of the episode from Medical Investigation where it touches me too) or just to get away from annoying family members or anything at all... but family is what u go back to at the end of the day, you might lose them in a way but they still care a love you. I know that things are tough sometimes. Anyhow, this movie makes me think of the situation in this world right now. Anyhow, Adam Sanders, GOOD JOB in this movie for bringing the right message to people out there who are sometimes being crouded by work and neglecting their family. I love this a lot!!!

Second:
World Trade Center - the movie

Well, basically it's the story about courage and faith... this is one of the subject being repeated a lot of time by many people. Well, how many people remember how the world come togather after the 9/11 incident?? As years passed, people started to forget what its like to be standing togather and to help each other. I think the society need the boost to remember what it was during that time. I say, GOOD THING to have stuffs to make us remember how it was to be standing togather as human being in this world.

Then the book:
Wicked - the life and time of the wicked witch of the west

Yes, you read it right, it's a spin off from the all time classic - The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and well, the author did a good job putting in stuffs that makes us think. How would you be if you're the green one?? The whole novel is about racism... how the minority have been looked different in a society. Well, no matter how u learn stuffs, it still something strong in society everywhere. I wondered as I read, this book really makes us think... well, is the Wizard really the "good guy" as we know in the classic, he is... well, in this novel, although doesn't wrote by the original author, it still makes pretty much sense of how things is and are in the land of Oz... well, no one is 100% good or evil... well, it's a big book and a hard book to read if you're trying to find the meaning but just goes with the flow of the story and it's actually not that bad... it's one of my favourite now... ofcourse, the musical "Wicked" the storyline are different... to warn you that.

Anyhow, all these makes my time to re-think of all the situation in the world and society...

Wow... another month over and moving into a new month... I can't wait for the mid autumn festival... it'll be nice... hehe... although I no longer playing with lantern and stuffs but... mooncakes... yum... hahaha... I've been eating it lately... since it's already out in the market...

Other than that... it's Sept 11 again yesterday... it felt sad thinking back at what had happened on this day... although I'm not an American but still it makes me sad for so many people lost their life on this day... I tribute to them...

sometimes, sitting around at home, it still gets us feeling tired. I felt that it might be we're doing some serious thinking. I'm not sure what I'm thinking about but I guess the brain never really stop thinking about stuffs.

I have thinking about being with someone... it's weird that some people you felt comfortable to be around with even though not talking much or dunno what to talk about but you still enjoy having the company. but sometimes, some person you just doesn't want to be around them... it's weird, just my thought that how it'll be.

Tomorrow, I'll be having an interview with a company. It's really terrifying to me even though this is not the first interview I ever attended. just wish me luck and I'll appreciate it a lot. I guess things would be better after I'm working and can afford myself.

Well, just to keep everything up... got a new haircut yesterday... it was... well, to put it in words... so not me, it's something really different and totally doesn't look like what I would have normally... it's very in style and I normally goes for geeky hair...

Wow... 3 years of study and the graduation... well, actually the time of going up to get my scroll is only 2 mins worth... hahaha... isn't that great? I was shaking down there as I afraid that I might do something very huliating to myself as tripped and fell or something worst... luckily nothing happened... I still not able to put up the pictures yet as they're still with my brothers.

Went to took the picture at the studio too, I booked Shalom to take pictures there... wonder how it's like... not yet getting their call to pick up the pictures yet but guess it's soon as they said it'll be somewhere this week or early next week. Just hope so...

As others, nothing else is new... still stretching to find a job... it's sooooooo darn hard...

Graduation Robe

Sigh... it's HOT... I went over to USM took it this morning and well, tried it on... it was hot than I can imagine and I'm just wearing a t-shirt... I can't tell how it'll be like on this Thursday where I basically have to put on lounge suite (which is tie, long sleeves shirt and coat/blazer!!!!) well, I am not sure how to survive since my ceremony session is on 3pm... that's HOTTER than ever, I guess...

Things are cool as I bumped into some high school friends who I obviously haven't see for a long time and some coursemate and have a little chit-chating around with each other. I missed those time than now... we have some best friends around and well, really enjoying to have each other's company... well, now I gotta get some rest from all these... although it's only sunday morning...

Graduation

Well, finally the day is here... next Thursday would be the day and I so wish it never comes... haha.. just a way of self denial as it means I'm old in a way... that's what I think. But then again this is what we get after 3 years of hard time studying. I guess, it has come to an end unless I wanna further my study.

I am still thinking if I should go to sit for Grunstufe Zwei this year or talk to my German teacher to ask her to help me refresh everything first before getting to take the exam. I am not sure about it now. I know it'll be hard as it's already level 2. When I start working, I would go to MGS (Malaysian German Society) to further my German language study. I would atleast have a Grunstufe Drei. That's my dream if I'm not taking till Mittlestufe. (Hope I didn't spell it wrong!) Pardon my German please.

Now, the first thing I have to do is get a job and enrol myself in the German language classes. help me... haha, it'll be a crazy schedule, I think.

Remember 5 years ago, that incident in Sept. 11 morning? I think of it and I can still remember everything as fresh as it is. Well, things are hard at that time. I was told about this film made in memorium of those who fought hard in their plane so it didn't crushed on the target it supposed to crushed. Anyhow, it was a sad thing that ever happened.

As I gone through the movie, I've been crying a lot of times and it really makes me sad of what that had happened. And I think the director did a great job in reliving the incident although many doesn't really wanted to revisits whatever that had happened....

snatch thief

well, I used to read on papers about snatch thief cases and I never thought it'll happen to myself or someone close to me but well, this happened today when I go walking around Penang georgetown old street area (near the goddest of mercy temple there) and well, my sis was kinda being pushed by a motorcyclist and well, the digital camera that she has in her hand is being snatched... well, really terrible... we were all shocked and stand in the middle of the street doing nothing... sad... now I got no camera to use anymore...

I know its been a long time I last posting anything here... well, some news...

the online game I've been playing, maple story launches ludibrium, previously known as lego land or toy town... anyhow, it was kinda fun there... other than this, I've finished my university and am looking for a job...

yesterday went to wacht xmen 3 in theater with my friend (can you belive it?? we in malaysia actually got it a day earlier...) it was great but kinda sad 3 major characters in the movie have to die...

HOW COULD THE DIRECTOR KILL THEM?????????????????????????????? anyhow, that's my rage about it but it was a good one nevertheless... Angel, even appeared in the movie poster, only have a VERY small role... Rogue, its ok but obviously have a smaller role than previous one... Scott aka Cyclops, died in the early of the movie, so his role is also very small... sigh... sigh sigh.......

I've been seeing the AIM (Malaysian version of Grammy or something... ) well, its basically a music awards for Malaysian singers and musicians... our first Malaysian Idol, Jaclyn Victor (also known as Jac) won 4 awards topping Siti Norhaliza who only got 1... hehehe... awards that she got including best pop album, best new artiste and best album of the year... isn't that great... so I went back to her Album "Gemilang" and listening to them again when it comes to the live version of Gemilang, I remember how trilled we were watching it and seeing that we finally have a great artiste in Malaysia now and she's born because of the Malaysian Idol... but when it comes to last year, the 2nd season of Malaysian idol is totally terrible as he's not good performers and if really compared, way way behind than Jac... haha... without saying much, I think the best part is still let you guys judge... I posted the video for Malaysian Idol finale when she performing the winner's song... and well, she got that song... :P

Well, been watching Band of Brothers (again)... lol... they're good although at part its a bit bloody... haha... that's war... I reckon...

Anyhow, love the way it tells the story of everyone in the 101st Airbourne... that's really a good one... its been playing on 9tv Malaysia... though I find it hard to catch on TV since I have the DVD... you just can't wait to know what happened next... who dies, who's out due to injury... etc... anyways, if you watched this, sure you know who I'm talking about when I mention Lipton (please, not the tea!!!), Winters, Luz, Doc Roe, Webster (not the dictionary either), Malarky, Liebgott and many more... they're really my favourite mini series ever... although I watched Taken too... (the miniseries by Steven Spielberg after the success of Band of Brothers) its just not as interesting as Band of Brothers... :P

well, many times things are like this when they have too hugh a success on the first ones and the next are normally sux... hate to say that but that's the truth... I don't remember much examples... but this is what happened mostly... as far as I know...

Wow... I love this movie... its really a classic for me now... love the title song too... well, its such a touching movie... if anyone of you out there haven't seen it, its recommended to watch it... steal it, rob it... however way you can reach this movie, just do so... cos it worth the trouble... (haha... joking about the robbing and stealing part) anyhow, just take ur effort to get the movie to watch as its really a nice one... I watched 2 times and planning to watched more times...

anyhow, for those out there... lately, I dunno why but I'm just not in a good mood for anything... well, life in a way its boring as nothing new happened... nothing unexpected happened in life makes it boring... haha... anyhow, I link the video here...

another day another exam...

zzzZZzZz... today, its another day for another exam... I have this MIS test this morning at 9 am so I wake up at 6.30 am again... what I didn't realized is that my pencilbox slide out of the bag the night before... and all my documents to take the test are in there... I was totally stunned about that when I was in the bus... the first reaction was...

OMG!!!! What should I do?? At the time, I was about to reach the University... so I went down... walked to the university trying to find a taxi to get home as I'll be late (and might be forfeited from the exam!!!) if I take the time to wait for a bus... sigh... luckily I met a friend who offered me a ride home to get my stuffs... it was really a rush against time as we drove way to my home around 8.20 am... I was nail biting and shaking... if we have enough time to get that... and luckily we make it and back to University at 8.50 am... it was scary... you never saw my face so green before if you were there... when we reached back University, all are already seated at the hall... so I checked my seat and walked in... someone are sitting at my seat... I was... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH this is my seat!!!!! lol... she shocked and staring at me for a while before realized that she seated wrongly...

the test are a bit crazy too as mostly are based on common knowledge on handling your computer... about antivirus, spyware... etc... if I bored you... please say so... hehehe...

and today, I installed on my pc Internet Explorer 7 beta version 2... its really a cool one and if anyone wanted that, should go try it out... ;-) its quite stable just with some minor problem corresponding with .NET passport... e.g. hotmail but they are all fixable... also, installed spyware doctor on my pc... it worked great and removed some problem I had on my pc previously... so it works great...

hmm... other news?? George is leaving Penang soon.. going back to China... and tommorow's farewell I have to give a small talk... sigh... I don't even know what to talk about... anyhow, just think of something... as I will do that for sure... just wish me luck... hahaha... never have confidant when I talk in front of people... sigh... wonder how it'll leads me when I started to work...

Sometimes, exams are just driving me nuts... today I had my German exams... I sat there thinking... why are mostly words that I don't recognized?? hmm... good question... I thought I was the only one who knows everyone have the same problem... lol... we just simply answer as much as we can... hope to atleast score some marks... hehehhehehe...

as much as I hate to say... the new bus systems in Penang are driving me crazy too... now, I have to wake up at 6.30 am in order not to late to my exam at 9 am... it's really tiring and boring especially when I arrived there too early (obviously... but better than late!!!) and I have to wait long before a bus passed through to get home too... sigh... this is getting worst... but the lucky part is that I dun have to bear with it anymore in 1 more weeks... I'll be done with university and oops... I have to deal with it again when I work... sigh... really bad eh??

Life is... BORING (sometimes... or most of the time...)

Well, things aren't picking up at all... life is still boring at some stage... maybe that's what people say... its the time where things doesn't looked interesting... anyhow, enough of my boring life...

the other day I was talking to my sister and seeing that 9tv (the new station in Malaysia) will be concerntrating on Malay market and being seen that they played animation such as Jimmy Neutron in Malay (hope I didn't got the animation wrong... as the station is too blur here to received in where I live... just can see a bit of it and hear the sound) and we were thinking, since it'll be targeting on Malay audience, maybe Band of Brothers will be dubbed into Malay... lol... imagine this... take a scene...

haha... I guess most of us who watched it before would be laughing at it more than really watching it... also, we tried to change some Chinese songs into Malay before... it was totally a bomb... (I mean it in a bad way)

isn't that doesn't sync with the music at all?? Although I am not denying that there're great Malay songs such as "Keliru" or "Gemilang" although the song "Gemilang" has obviously repeated too many times as most of us might know... Everywhere "our" Jac go there'll be this song performed by her... well, don't get me wrong... I do, I really do proud of Jac more than this... Daniel... eww... he can't sing... I wonder why he could win in the 2nd Season of Malaysian Idol... hmm... conspiracy?? Chinese people just want him to win because of Kiasu thinking that they can't let a Malay wins??? I personally prefer Nita than Daniel... I wonder what will happened when they have a world idol and Simon Cowell hear how he sang... maybe it'll be

I must have been going crazy... lately, I'm in exam week and I still going around not studying... hehe... anyhow, German exam is just day after tomorrow and I didn't even scared... I should be shaking like siao... but I am fine with that... isn't that weird?? I am not in anyway ready on that... I remember during my test I added English words in there... just because I don't know that word in German...

Other than that, hmm... I dunno where to begins... play star wars battlefront 2 like a crazy person... I won a galactic conquest... (game over) and I still shouting "DIE YOU!!! DIE!!! DIE!!!" haha... well, that's not funny, I guess not in anyway funny at all since I guess everyone playing games in a way are shouting like that... but well, I die sometimes without knowing why... so, I'm wondering why I can win the game... hmm... good question to myself...

Watching TV and downloaded series sometimes (because the seriest are too slow to be here) we waited for 2-3 years before we have the chance to see them on TV... (guess what?? that's Malaysian TV channel) anyhow, I guess downloading them are way easier than waiting for them to be here... :P

sometimes, when someone asked me what's new?? I felt like "$#(*%!)($#%)$" hehehe... well, get to it people, that's life, nothing is new sometimes, so quit asking me what is new in my life... if there's anything new, I'll let you guys know... well, some people are asking that for fun, that's even worst as they never intended to know more about you or what's new about you... well, maybe that's life too...

well, welcome to my life, gaming, studying and now... there IS a new thing... looking for a job... as I finish my degree this May... which is only 2 weeks to go... OMG... I haven't get a job yet... hmm... should be time to get out running about looking for one now...

everyone's life has a crazy part... earlier, I read that post of Kenny Sia's blog on advertising... well, ads are sometimes a bit crazy for us, don't you think so?? well, but they works... they get already slim model or celebrities to be their spoke person saying that it works to slim down but, what are we to know?? they're that slim all the time...
